Yvonne's Place (mymayhem)

I went down to Fabric World to buy some fabric for my cushion covers.   The staffs are so helpful there and friendly, I could spend at least half a day there.   I found some fabric for my cushion covers.   Back home fabric in the washing machine, then tumble drier and iron ready and waiting for me to make cushion cover tomorrow.

Project 7 I was going to make 6 cushions covers this week but I order some difficult material which I though look nice.   The material I order was Crushed Taffeta,   when I get better with sewing I will use it but not yet.   Oh well I just have to wait till next week now to make them, just need to order more fabric. I will let you know I how I get on Have a lovely sewing week.

I am so proud of myself with the end result with my French Seamed Envelope Cushion Cover.   My cushion cover is pretty on the outside and neat and tidy on the inside.   This is one of the easy projects I have made. French Seamed Envelope Cushion Cover, I have made one before so, I found it a lot easier to make.   If I knew how easy it was to do a French seam I would have done before on most of my project. This is my 1 st attempt of making a messenger shoulder bag.   I am still learning to use my sewing machine and learning the basic techniques as I am still a beginning.   I am pleased with my result as I have only just learnt to make a loop for swivel bolt snap.

I am so pleased with myself because I have been on the train by myself, as Lance normally drives me to where I want to go or I hop on the bus when I am returning from town. I was a bit nervous but the journey was nice and also I thought the train conductor would not understand me when I say Llwynypia with my English accented.

Good Morning, I hope you have enjoyed your week.    Sorry I have not been posted for a while just been so busy with home life, still feeling stress but hopefully it will work it way out.   I have not done much crafting as I   got to a point were everything I done did not   look right so I stop for a while because I was getting more depress. Since Christmas I have been teaching myself to sew. Over the next few days I going to try and make a pair of curtain for our bedroom. Have a grand day, bye for now
